I’m a full time employee and a full time plus over time mom and wife so I made excuses of not having time, being too tired and just pure lack of motivation. I finally woke up and realized those excuses weren’t helping me be the best at my job or be the best mom and wife I could be so 6 months ago I made MY health a priority and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. I didn’t think I could do it, I didn’t think I could make nutrition a priority, I didn’t think I could workout everyday but I could and I did! It’s all about mindset, I had a great conversation with @macromindedlife yesterday about how big of a part mindset plays into the entire process! So thankful for her guidance and education through all of this! If you are ready to stop making excuses, learn about a healthy relationship with food and change your mindset reach out to Ellen, it will be the best decision you ever make!
I’ve always thought of myself as somewhat “healthy and fit.” Well, aside for my affection for ice cream! My love for running has kept me in shape over the years. And then I turned the dreaded corner into my upper 30s. Things started “settling” into strange and undesirable places and I could tell I was losing muscle mass in my legs, arm
I’ve always thought of myself as somewhat “healthy and fit.” Well, aside for my affection for ice cream! My love for running has kept me in shape over the years. And then I turned the dreaded corner into my upper 30s. Things started “settling” into strange and undesirable places and I could tell I was losing muscle mass in my legs, arms and core. I reached out to Ellen because I knew she had a lot of knowledge and experience in the health/fitness and nutrition world. I asked her to build a plan for me that would build muscle and teach me how to eat to best fuel my body. I learned very quickly that, while I worked out regularly (mostly cardio) and ate a healthy range of food, I wasn’t doing things to keep muscle mass AND I was not eating nearly enough food. Since being on the customized plan Ellen created for me, I have learned how to eat a proportionately balanced meal and I’ve never felt STRONGER and MORE ENERGIZED in my life. And I SEE results! Ellen checks in with me regularly, shares great recipes and keeps me motivated as I embark on this new way of life. It feels GREAT to make my health a priority. And with 3 kids and a full time job, I often times felt my needs fell to the wayside before this. Another plus—my kids see that my health is important to me AND they are learning how to eat healthy balanced meals! Thank you Ellen!
If you have thought about gaining control of your health, I strongly encourage you to talk to Ellen. She will walk right beside you to a healthier lifestyle that is SUSTAINABLE. (And there are no pills or special drinks—you’ll be eating REAL food that is delicious and good for you!) This means your life will change for the better and you will be equipped with the knowledge and power to keep going even when she’s not beside you. Jump in with both feet like I did. You won’t regret it, I promise!
The shift occurred when I felt like I truly woke up. Through divorce, quarantine , and life stress, the excess weight seemed to creep on. I exercised regularly, but made poor food choices with a carb heavy diet. When I became aware of how much water I needed , and what foods helped fuel my body properly, I took charge of my health. It did

I exercised regularly, but made poor food choices with a carb heavy diet. When I became aware of how much water I needed , and what foods helped fuel my body properly, I took charge of my health. It didn’t happen overnight. But, slow and steady, and 17 pounds less, here I am! I haven’t reached my goal yet, but I have the tools I need to get there!
